How to pick healthy snacks!!!

Two office workers sit opposite each other at work 👨‍💼👨🏽‍💼

One of them is a smug guy who’s ignorant to calories - he thinks he’s the main man and puts everyone else around him down

Let’s call him Mr Smug... 👨‍💼

Mr Smug believes that losing weight is simply about making better food choices and if you eat healthy meals you’ll lose fat

He looks down on his colleagues who eat even the slightest bit of processed food and he thinks that they are all mentally weak for not sticking to their healthy food diet

He has a closed mindset and believes that eating healthy food is the only way to lose fat

The second guy (let’s call him Mr Smart) has recently hired a trainer 👨🏽‍💼

He has an Open Mindset and is Open to new ideas and approaches to help him succeed

Mr Smart after several years of struggling to lose weight has recently learned about energy balance and my fitness Pal 👨🏽‍💼

One Friday after a successful week in work Mr Smart decides to order a Dominos and share it with another colleague 👨🏽‍💼

While Mr Smug drinks his lunch, which consists of an Innocent Smoothie

He drinks it in 12 seconds

He then consumes 100g of cashew nuts in less that 3 minutes (Total of 781 Calories) 👨‍💼

Mr Smart on the other side of the desk thoroughly enjoys his Pizza enjoying every single slice taking a solid 20 mins to eat the meal (Total of 720 Calories) 👨🏽‍💼

• Mr Smug can’t believe he’s been ignorant to Calories for so long 🤦‍♂️

• Mr Smug can’t believe he has been eating foods he doesn’t really enjoy every day at work 🤦‍♂️

• Mr Smug can now understand why he’s been struggling to see results himself 🤦‍♂️

• Mr Smug now looks up to Mr Smart and no longer takes the piss out of him for his food choices 🙌

Moral of the story 👉👉 Track your calories, you may be using a huge amount of calories on foods you don’t really enjoy and don’t bring you much satisfaction
